Should You Purchase the New iPhone?

There are two new versions of iPhone available - the iPhone 6 and another is iPhone 6 Plus. Now that you have two devices to choose from but the most essential question is should you? Is it necessary for you to purchase a new iPhone just because it is available. Too many questions but easy to answer once you read on and find out. 

For iPhone 5S and 5C

 If you already own these or one of these versions of iPhone then it hardly matters if you are upgrading. Even though, it seems legit that you go after a new and upgraded version but often it just does not seem necessary to do so. The biggest reason can be the amount of money you have already invested in the current version of iPhone. If you are the one who also takes into consideration the financials then you need to look at some other perspectives as well. The payment for contract that should not be less than 2 years. For this reason hang on to your old buddy for some more time. If you have iPhone 5C then you need to keep it at least for a year. This clearly means that you are not so much of a performance geek. 

If you take pictures

If you are one of those who are in a habit of taking pictures then you need to check out other options as well. For example - an Android handset or a Windows Phone might seem a better choice rather than going for upgraded model of iPhone. Still if you want to consider you can go for the latest version that does offer lots of camera apps for controlling shutter, focus and white balance. The question about the security of your pictures remains, it is not as safe as one would want it especially after the fiasco of photo hack. 

If you shoot videos

If you are a fan of shooting videos and want better videos then iPhone 6 plus and iPhone 6 are a must buy. The burst mode and other video options are really a treat to capturing good videos. The autofocus and face detection is something that would help you improve your video quality. Everything is in focus without losing the sight of the most essential element while shooting a video. 

Users of Google 

Using the new iPhone is not a challenge even for those who are using Google services that include Google Drive, Gmail and Map as these are cross-platform apps. However, these work well with Android due to its compatibility with the operating system. 

For Customizing

Often, you would like to customize your Smartphone. This clearly means that the OS should be designed to make relevant changes as the user desires. The iPhone seems to lack this due to its security policy. This again means that either you opt for Android or stay with the current version of iPhone.

Mobile payments and NFC

 If you are the one hankering after mobile payments that is similar to Google Wallet then Apple Pay is a great reason that you should migrate to another version. The ecosystem and the way it is integrated in the latest version is amazing. 

NFC too is a good reason to upgrade your current handset. This works pretty well with Apple Pay. 

Playing Games

There are many, who like playing games on their iPhones. The games are available to iPhone users on the App store way ahead of Windows Phone and Android phone. The technology of API is something that makes it work faster and better than any other Smartphone.

For the above-mentioned reasons, it is easy to say that you should be satisfied with the current version of iPhone. However for those who like photography, e-wallet, games should definitely go for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
