A possible labor issue behind shortage of iPad retina display

A recent report speaks about the reduced production of the latest iPad Retina display.  This comes across as a shock for all those who have been expecting to see more of this product in the market for purchasing it.  So, what has been the reason behind this?

It has been mentioned that all this has happened due to labor expenditure being on an all time high. This is what is affecting the shipments of retina display iPad. It all came to light when labor related issues arose.  Working overtime and work environment has taken a toll on the production of this product. This had an adverse effect on the supply which resulted in shortage.

All this can be sorted out by assigning reasonable working hours and proper working conditions, 49 work hours per week and reducing the overtime are a few of the things that need to be implemented. Work hours will reduce from 80 to 36.

Nobody thought that there would be a shortage of the product due to labor issues instead of a gap in supply and demand. This is surely a lesson to be learnt: labor related issues should be considered before producing a premium product.
