Apple iPad3 hits a road bump with Australian consumers and offers refund over false claims in advertisement

Apple Inc is reportedly being dragged into a legal battle over a false product representation in the iPad3 advertisement that was recently launched in Australia. This incident came to light when a consumer interest commission cited an advertisement for iPad3 claiming 4G data connectivity. Ironically the 4G mobile connect service has compatibility conflicts and technical issues in Australia.

Apple is now more likely to face a legal action invoked by The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. The company is held responsible for publishing a misleading advertisement. If sources are to be believed, then Apple would soon be asked to spread consumer awareness highlighting the the technical incompatibility issue with the device.

Apple has recently promoted its iPad3 in Australia that comprises a Wi-Fi connect via 4G network. Trouble started brewing when it was realized that the Australian network runs only on one network. The sole provider of the network is Telstra Corp. This happens to operate on another frequency which is not attuned to the iPad3. Keeping this in mind the company may face a legal warning for not taking appropriate actions. Apple is now required to take corrective measures for the advertisement and also provide refunds to buyers. This is surely a cause of alarm for  Apple Inc because now every time  publish an advertisement or launch a product they will have to first make sure whether the stated services are available or not.

A possible labor issue behind shortage of iPad retina display

A recent report speaks about the reduced production of the latest iPad Retina display.  This comes across as a shock for all those who have been expecting to see more of this product in the market for purchasing it.  So, what has been the reason behind this?

It has been mentioned that all this has happened due to labor expenditure being on an all time high. This is what is affecting the shipments of retina display iPad. It all came to light when labor related issues arose.  Working overtime and work environment has taken a toll on the production of this product. This had an adverse effect on the supply which resulted in shortage.

All this can be sorted out by assigning reasonable working hours and proper working conditions, 49 work hours per week and reducing the overtime are a few of the things that need to be implemented. Work hours will reduce from 80 to 36.

Nobody thought that there would be a shortage of the product due to labor issues instead of a gap in supply and demand. This is surely a lesson to be learnt: labor related issues should be considered before producing a premium product.

How Would You Turn Off Hotkeys in Windows 7?

Windows 7 is the latest operating system (OS) from Microsoft. This operating system is replete with user friendly features that promise to make your work easy. One such feature is the Hotkeys. These are actually the keyboard shortcuts that you can use in combination with the key on your keyboard. For example by pressing Windows+R you can open the 'Run' dialogue box, Windows+E to open the Internet Explorer and many more.

In case you find these hotkeys annoying or you don't want to use the keyboard shortcuts at all then you have the option ready to disable them by following some simple steps. There are two preferred ways of disabling the Windows 7 hotkeys. The first way is by using a REG file download and the second is by using the Local Group Policy Editor.

Below mentioned are the steps to disable the Hotkeys with a REG file download:

* Download the below mentioned file.
 Disable_Windows_Key_Hotkeys.zip
 * After you finish the download click on Save to save the file on the desktop
* Now you need to open the.zip file and extract the.reg file to your PC desktop
* Right click on the .reg file that you have extracted and click on 'Merge'
* Now click 'Run' 'Yes' and 'Yes' again as and when you are prompted
* Now you can delete the .reg and .zip files on your desktop
* Restart the computer to apply the changes.

This way you can disable the Windows 7 hotkeys with a few simple steps.
Another way of disabling Windows 7 hotkeys is through the Local Group Policy Editor (GPE) with below mentioned steps:

* Start the process by typing gpedit.msc in the 'Search' box appearing in the 'Start' menu
* Navigate through the User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Windows Explorer appearing in the left column of the GPE
* Now you need to double click on the 'Turn off Windows + X hotkeys' appearing down in the list in Setting section of the GPE
* Finally, select 'Enable' and click 'OK' to apply the changes.

Thus you can disable the Windows 7 hotkeys by implementing two methods. The steps are easy to understand and implement. However, intricacies of this task cannot be ruled out entirely and technical hitches may come across while you are trying to disable Windows 7 hotkeys. If you are facing issues while doing this then consulting an experienced computer support service provider is the best option.
