Three Popular Tools to Set Quick and Free Remote Access of Other Computers

Remote access is gaining popularity in the domain of online PC and laptop support. Not just for commercial use but also for personal use, people require setting remote connections with other computers.

For instance, if you are in office working in a file and half of the text of that file is there on your home desktop.
Now, to connect to your home desktop, you will require accessing it via remote. Likewise, there can be various circumstances where having free remote access is beneficial. This blog lists out three popular remote access tools that you can use commercially and personally.

TeamViewer

TeamViewer is surely the best free remote access software considering its high popularity. It has numerous features that are great to use and in addition to that the software is extremely easy to install. There is no obligation to make any changes to the firewall configuration or the router.

The use of the tool gets easy owing to its voice-only, video and text chat. As a result of that, it supports wake-on-LAN (WOL) and also allows you to do file transfers. It can even remotely reboot a PC into Safe Mode. Using the tool one can connect to Mac, Windows, or Linux computer.

If you require accessing a computer on a regular basis from a different location, then install the TeamViewer Host version. But if you require accessing a computer just for once then go for the portable version called TeamViewer QuickSupport. Over this tool, you get a plenty of options through which you can connect to the computer you want to control remotely.

There are installable and portable programs available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Also, there are mobile apps for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. It has plenty of other features like:

·         Remote access to the computer using a web browser

·         Share a single application window

·         Print remote files to a local printer

Ammyy Admin

Ammyy Admin
Ammyy Admin is a perfectly portable remote access program that is notably simple to setup. It operates by connecting one computer to another through an ID supplied by the program.
Run the Ammyy Admin software on the client computer that you want to control remotely. You don't require doing any installation, and thus can get started pretty quickly. It's a file of just 750 KB and thus downloads very fast.

From its menu, you can choose Service. Next, you need to install the Ammyy Admin service. That will let you access the client computer without even running the program manually. When the program runs, your client needs to note the ID number and handover it to you so that you can instantly and easily connect to that computer.

So, to remotely connect using the Ammyy Admin host computer, simply launch the portable program on your computer. Enter the ID of the other computer, and you will easily set the remote connection. Now you can perform tasks like file transfers, voice chat, etc.

AeroAdmin

AeroAdmin
AeroAdmin is apparently the simplest program to use for free remote access. There are barely any settings, and everything is prompt. Thus, it's perfect for spontaneous support.

AeroAdmin resembles a lot to the TeamViewer program. Here also, just open the portable program and enter the AeroAdmin ID of the other computer to which you want to connect remotely. The only requirement is that both the computers must run the same AeroAdmin program. Both of the computer users at the either end of the remote connection have to enter the each other’s AeroAdmin ID.

After setting the connection, you can have two options: View Only or Remote Control. View Only lets you only see the other computer’s desktop but you can't control it or perform any tasks on it. But the ‘Remote Control’ connection lets you control the other computer, transfer files, share clipboard text, etc. It is a free tool for both personal and commercial use. But it doesn't have the chat option.

All the above mentioned remote access tools support free remote access from one computer to other. These are easy to install and use.
